Health and Well-Being

We want to make sure you’re taking care of you. UA students – distance students, too – have access to counseling resources that can help you cope with whatever life is throwing your way.

UA Counseling Center

UA Counseling Center services are available for distance students in Alabama through telecounseling. Call (205) 348-3863 to speak with a counselor or schedule an appointment. For students outside of Alabama, they can help you identify an appropriate referral in your area. The office will be open to phone calls Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m CST.

Welltrack Self Help

Welltrack Self Help is a free app-based online counseling service you can use to find support and resources for stress management, depression, anxiety, sleep, and more. Enroll with your UA email and password.

Free Screening Tool

UA Student Life offers a free screening tool that will ask you questions about how you’re doing and give you feedback. It’s completely anonymous and is available in both English and Spanish.

Take care of yourself. We’re all #TideTogether!
