As of this date, in addition to earning a master’s degree from a CSWE accredited school, the California Board of Behavioral Sciences requires the completion of specific courses that are offered at UA and can be completed as electives within your program of study; and the completion of additional courses that are based on California law and these courses are not offered at UA.
FL The courses in this program customarily lead to professional licensure provided that you meet the criteria for obtaining licensure in that state, such as sitting for an exam or post-degree requirements for supervised work experience. As of this date, in addition to earning a master’s degree from a CSWE accredited school, the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling requires the completion of specific coursework.
