The graduate certificate in Instructional Design is a flexible, 18-credit hour program for professionals who want to gain foundational knowledge quickly in instructional design and technology. Offered 100% online, this certificate can be completed in as little as six months.
You will receive practical knowledge in areas such as course development, learning management systems, gamification, mobile learning and instructional leadership.
This program also offers a seamless pathway to the Master of Arts in Instructional Technology, allowing students to apply the toward a full graduate degree.

Curriculum
The Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design requires the completion of 18 credit hours. Students take five required courses and choose one elective. Please note that courses are subject to change.

Admission
Applicants must hold a completed bachelor’s degree. The application will include the requested Graduate School materials including unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended, three letters of recommendation and a statement of purpose.
