Offered 100% online, UA’s minor in Leadership Communication allows you to foster both understanding and development of leadership communication skills. This minor combines the application of theory with practical skills.

Learn leadership communication skills that will give you a career advantage.

This 18-credit-hour minor will give you insights and skills to use in any career field. Emphasizing areas such as oral communication, communicating across differences and leadership communication strategies, you will develop your own personal communication skills and leadership style while learning how to influence groups, teams and organizations.

Curriculum

The Leadership Communication minor requires 18 credit hours of COM courses. The curriculum is designed to prepare students with the knowledge to serve in both formal and informal leadership roles in a variety of careers and contexts.

Admission

Before selecting a minor, you must be admitted to a major program (bachelor’s degree). You can pursue the minor of your choice along with your major coursework after gaining approval from your academic advisor.
