Curriculum
The MS in Hospitality Management consists of 30 credit hours. Students have the option of completing a thesis or non-thesis track. Please note that courses are subject to change.

- HSM 521: Hospitality Law and Risk Management
- HSM 570: Leadership Hospitality and Sport
- HSM 575: Sport and Hospitality Financial Management
- HSM 576: Strategic Management in Hospitality Tourism
- HSM 580: Consumer Behavior in Hospitality and Tourism
- HSM 592: Special Topics in Hospitality
- HSM 596: Seminar Hospitality Management
Academic Plans
- Plan 1: Thesis Track (Select 1 or more courses from the approved electives list to complete the 30-credit hour requirement)
- Plan II: Non-Thesis Track (24 credit hours and 6 Hours of Electives)

Admission
To be considered for admission, an applicant for the MS in Hospitality Management must have the following:
- One of the following:
- 3.0/4.0 GPA
- 3.0 GPA on last 60 hours
- Three letters of recommendation
- Statement of Purpose (Include in the Header: Hospitality Management). Students should also include in their statement why they have chosen this area of study and how it will apply to their personal and/or professional goals.
