Available online, the minor in Digital Consumer Engagement will prepare you to communicate effectively with consumers through a variety of web and mobile platforms.

The course concepts are especially beneficial to those pursuing careers in consumer engagement. The lessons can be applied to communicating with potential and existing customers in a variety of industries.
The 18-credit-hour minor includes courses that may also fulfill major curriculum requirements, easing your path to graduation.
Curriculum
The online minor in Digital Consumer Engagement requires 18 credit hours of CSM courses.

- CSM 440 Maximizing Use of Social Media Marketing
- CSM 441 Consumer Communications*
- CSM 443 Consumer Cybersecurity or CSM 381 Consumer Marketing Management
- CSM 445 Applied Digital Tools*
- CSM 447 Advanced Digital Tools
*May also count toward Consumer Affairs concentration
Admission
Before selecting a minor, you must be admitted to a major program (bachelor’s degree). You can pursue the minor of your choice along with your major coursework after gaining approval from your adviser.
