Graduation Ceremony and Reception

As you prepare to join generations of The University of Alabama alumni, you will be invited to participate in commencement and other campus activities during graduation weekend. This includes an exclusive UA Online in-person reception for our distance learning graduates and their guests. Please note:

• Each graduation candidate should file a degree application one semester prior to the term of graduation. More information can be found at registrar.ua.edu/graduation.
• Degrees are conferred at the end of each semester. To cover the expense of the commencement exercises and diploma, a fee is charged to each person applying for graduation.
• Commencement ceremony schedules, parking information, locations and more information can be found at commencement.ua.edu.
• Once you’ve applied for graduation, watch your email for save-the-date and invitation information for the UA Online graduation reception!

Graduation Regalia

Order your graduation regalia directly from the Supe Store’s website. They have everything you need — cap and gowns, tassels, graduation stoles and cords, master’s hoods and more. Graduates can also order diploma frames, Josten’s class rings and other alumni merchandise through universitysupplystore.com.

This $50 card features your ACT Card photo, name and graduation term, and it’s only available to graduates of The University of Alabama.

This card is for commemorative purposes only, is not an official form of identification and does not guarantee current UA status. This card cannot be used for Action Card services on or off campus.
